Oceania Aurelia *****+
Oceania Aurelia - een grondig getransformeerde versie van de huidige Oceania Nautica – komt in 2027 in de vaart en zal meteen ook een conceptuele koerswijziging voor de rederij worden.
Waar Nautica tot 670 passagiers vervoerde, kiest Oceania voor Aurelia bewust voor minder: maximaal 476 gasten, bediend door 400 bemanningsleden. Van de 238 accommodaties zijn er 179 ingericht als suite, de meeste groter dan 28m², sommige zelfs tot 93 m². Butlerservice, aparte leef- en eetkamers, en een nieuwe Founders Bar zetten de toon. Aurelia wordt duidelijk ontworpen voor langere reizen (als een soort club op zee), eerder dan een klassiek cruiseschip.
Dat vertaalt zich ook in het vaarschema. Na de inauguratiereizen eind 2027 neemt Aurelia de 180-daagse wereldcruises van Oceania voor haar rekening in zowel 2028 als 2029, aangevuld met een reeks Grand Voyages.
