Scenic is een Australische rederij die vooral gekend staat om haar ultra luxe riviercruiseschepen. Met Scenic Eclipse I en II vaart Scenic Cruises vanaf nu ook op zee.

Het zijn 2 identieke luxe expeditieschepen voor maximaal 228 gasten die eruit zien en gebouwd zijn als een privé-yacht, gevuld met indrukwekkende technologische faciliteiten zoals 2 helikopters en een duikboot voor wel 6 gasten (+ piloot): de Scenic Neptune. Kortom, een ultra-luxe expeditieproject met hetzelfde gezellige gevoel dan waarvoor de riviercruises zo gewaardeerd worden.

Aan boord heb je 6 culinaire keuzemogelijkheden, en ook alle dranken zijn in de prijs inbegrepen. Net als de fooien, excursies, Wi-Fi en zelfs de butlerservice. De verhouding tussen gasten en bemanning is trouwens al even indrukwekkend.

Behalve de zomercruises in de Middellandse Zee zijn ontdekkingsreizen voorzien naar de Amerika’s en Antarctica. Ook reizen naar de Noorse fjorden en de Noordpool staan op het programma.
