Seven Seas Explorer (56.000 ton, 754 passagiers) is in juli 2016 in de vaart gekomen. Het schip is het meest luxe schip van Regent ooit, uiteraard een all-suite schip. De grootste suite, de Regent Suite (271 m2), is een twee slaapkamer suite met een veranda (89 m2) die rond de suite loopt. In deze suite staat een prachtige Steinway piano, is een door glas omgeven ruimte om te zonnebaden en zelfs een privé spa met badkamer, twee verwarmde stenen loungebedden, een sauna, stoomruimte en privé behandelruimtes. De bewoners van de suite krijgen ongelimiteerde spa behandelingen.De Seven Seas Explorer biedt de meest succesvolste restaurants aan, zoals specialiteitenrestaurants Prime 7 Steakhouse, het Franse Chartreuse en Pan-Aziatisch Pacific Rim. Uiteraard zijn op dit ultraluxe schip ook het casual buffet Verandah Cafe en het hoofdrestaurant Compass Rose aanwezig. In de avond verandert het Verandah Cafe in een elegant restaurant Sette Mari at La Veranda. In totaal zijn er drie specialiteitenrestaurants aan boord.

Culinary Arts Kitchen is Regent’s eerste culinaire kookschool waar gasten bij een van de achttien individuele werk/kook plekken hun gerechten maken die niet zouden misstaan in de Franse prestigieuze kookscholen. De vele workshops bieden van alles, zoals gezond koken, vis en schelpdieren, mini-desserts, grill gerechten en workshops die geïnspireerd zijn op de bestemmingen waar het schip op dat moment is. De Canyon ranch Spa Club® & Infinity Pool is een rijkelijk ingerichte spa met infrarood sauna, aromatische stoomruimte en een selectie van exclusieve ultra luxe behandelingen die zijn ontwikkeld door Canyon Ranch in samenwerking met lifestyle en beauty-experts. Op een privé buitendek bevindt zich een prachtige Infinity pool met uitzicht op de horizon..

Aan boord van Seven Seas Explorer zijn 375 ruime suites, variërend van de 29m² grote Veranda Suite tot de royale Regent Suite van maar liefst 413m². Iedere suite heeft een eigen uitstraling en een privé balkon – waaronder sommige van de grootste in de gehele cruise industrie – perfect om na een dag te hebben rondgewandeld op de lokale bestemming weer helemaal te relaxen in de eigen oase van rust.
